Sabrina Cataldo

About me

I am a multiple award-winning writer and editor with more than 20 years of experience. In that time, I have worked as a copywriter, communications strategist, and speechwriter, in addition to doing freelance writing for a variety of folks and organizations.

I hold a master of arts in English, a bachelor of arts in English, a bachelor of journalism, and a certificate in public relations. My annual reports have won Canadian Public Relations Society (CPRS) awards and Saskatchewan Award for Communications Excellence (ACE) awards. I have also received the national Sovereign’s Medal for Volunteers for my work with Regina Cat Rescue, Regina Lyric Musical Theatre, and Carmichael Outreach.

I enjoy theatre (both as a performer and an audience member), singing, and cats.

What I can do for you

I focus on letting the story shine by writing simply and concisely. I love taking complicated ideas and putting them in plain language for all to understand and enjoy. As an editor, I find minute mistakes and inconsistencies, so typos and grammatical errors don’t get in the way of your message. I appreciate the opportunity to collaborate with people of all abilities, working with you to express the passion you have for your projects in a way that best suits your audience—whether they’re magazine readers, grant administrators, or folks scrolling their socials.
